eMalahleni Private Hospital is fully on track in its goal of delivering high-quality and affordable healthcare services by putting its patients, doctors and staff at the heart of all its activities.“We attribute our success to the commitment of our medical practitioners and staff who maintain high standards of care and clinical excellence,” says Dr Isanang Malope, Chairman of the Board. He adds that “We benefitted enormously from the input of Carl Grillenberger, who has decades of experience in developing and growing hospitals and clinics. He has been involved in the development of clinics in Australia, the United Kingdom and, recently he has turned his attention back to South Africa, with the establishment of eMalahleni Private Hospital (ePH) in the CBD of eMalahleni in Mpumalanga.“All ePH stakeholders have a direct interest in achieving the hospital’s vision and mission.” A large portion of the shares are held by eMalahleni medical practitioners. Local business men Thabo Monareng and Dr Kodi Moloto played a leading role in establishing and developing the new hospital. The hospital is managed by Mandela Street Hospital Investments under the competent leadership of Mrs V Shanahan, Mr Thabo Monareng and Dr Kodi Moloto. According to Thabo Monareng “The closely knit ePH team is united in its focus on excellence” Val Shanahan describes the hospital as a “development by eMalahleni people for eMalahleni people”. Val adds “Our dream is to improve the general wellness of our communities, and to be seen as part of the solution to manage the rising cost of private healthcare. We believe that we are offering an effective, high-quality service in a low-cost environment by involving, motivating and developing a pool of shared resources and professional partners.”
